Mediation for families
Sometimes, families have relational problems which are better addressed by mediation than by longer term therapy. Mediation can offer a more targeted way for families to move on from past hurts, rebuild trust and make constructive agreements on how to move forward.

Normally mediation for families involves introductory meetings with the family members, followed by one joint meeting in order to resolve a particular issue. In the joint mediation meeting I play a neutral, facilitative role, helping each of you understand each other's perspectives, acknowledge difficult experiences and agree ways to restore the relationship.
I have experience in working with a range of different relational problems within families including for:

-
Adult siblings
-
Couples within families
-
Parents and teenagers
-
Parents and adult children

I've worked as a mediator with families in my own private practice and via Wandsworth Mediation Service (WMS). I'm a Registered Mediator with the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) and an accredited mediator with the London School of Mediation.

Please note that whilst I provide mediation for families I am not a family mediator, i.e. I do not provide mediation to help couples reach agreements in the process of separation or divorce.
