Family therapy
I work with adult families, and families with older teenagers, to help you better understand and improve your relationships. Typically I do this using a blend of individual and group sessions, designed to bring insight into the difficult patterns families can get stuck in and help you discover new, better ways of relating.

I have experience of supporting families with issues including:
-
Navigating mental health challenges in the family
-
Recovering from past hurts and relationship breakdown
-
Improving communication
-
Managing conflict better

As well as my core psychotherapy training, I've completed two years training in family therapy training and am a Systemic Practitioner at Intermediate level with the Association for Family Therapy (AFT).
This means that I am interested in understanding how family and cultural contexts are shaping your difficulties. I also use Systemic techniques to increase insight into different perspectives, shed light on what is causing problems, and identify ways to manage them better.
